National LaunchTeaching Einsteinian Physics at School & Quantum Girls Projects

The nationwide launch of the Einstein-First and Quantum Girls project was held at the Australian Academy of Science’s spectacular Shine Dome in Canberra in June. These ground-breaking initiatives are geared towards modernising primary and high school science education, with the primary objective of addressing Australia's pressing shortage of STEM skills.

The launch was led by two Prime Minister’s Science Prize winners, Distinguished Professor Susan Scott of ANU and Emeritus Professor David Blair of UWA.

The National Launch is an opportunity for educators, schools and education planners across Australia to learn about the goals and achievements of the programs

Biographies of the speakers can be found here (or in PPTX format).
